Cable Percussive Drilling

Cable Percussive drilling offers a great deal of flexibility, as it can be used as a stand-alone piece of work or as a compliment to other drilling techniques being carried out on the same site.

D&I Drilling have the capability to drill in 6 and 8 diameter holes going down to depths of over 30m. Using this technique disturbed and undisturbed samples can be obtained and logged.

All D&I Drilling rigs are transported to site by one of our 4×4 vehicles to allow access in difficult terrain. Once on site, our rigs are operated by experienced engineers.

With regards to Health and Safety, as standard all locations will have an initial CAT and Genny survey before drilling and a 1.2m hand dug pit excavated to establish service clearance.

Capable of Standard Penetration Tests – SPT and SPT(C) to current British Standards and EC7. Allows for the easy installation of standpipes, gas / water monitoring tubes or other instrumentation, within the restrictions of the borehole diameter.
